Carlos Moreno Pelizari - Tenor


Chilean Tenor Carlos Moreno Pelizari’s most recent and current highlights include CANDIDE, MACDUFF, PINKERTON and BARON BINSCHONDA Reise zum Mond Offenbach at Theater Regensburg and DON JOSE at Theater Aachen.

Carlos was born in Santiago de Chile and studied with Prof. KS Wolfgang Millgramm at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. In the 2014/15 season he joined the ensemble at the Landestheater Detmold, where he sang NEMORINO, TAMINO, CASSIO Otello and BELFIORE La Finta Giardiniera.

He then moved to the Saarland State Theater in Saarbrücken, where he appeared in roles such as DON OTTAVIO, MERCURE Platée, DUCA, FENTON Falstaff, KUDRJASCH Katja Kabanova and WALTHER Tannhäuser.

As a guest, he has appeared at Theater Magdeburg as ALFREDO, the Lucerne Theater as DUCA and FENTON Falstaff, at Theater Heidelberg as TAMINO, the Landesbühnen Sachsen ALFREDO, Theater Osnabrück as DUCA, at Theater Krefeld Mönchengladbach LAERTES Hamlet, at Theater Gera DUCA, at Theater Görlitz WALTHER Tannhäuser, at Landestheater Coburg PASTOR ADAMS Peter Grimes, at the Eutin Festival ALFREDO, at Theater Lübeck SINGER Maria de Beunos Aires, at the Dresden Music Festival FERNANDO Elvira, and at Opera Nacional de Chile in Santiago as ALFREDO.

In the 2021/22 season, Carlos Moreno Pelizari joined the ensemble at Theater Aachen, where he sang DON JOSE and TENOR SOLO in Beethoven's 9th Symphony, before moving to the ensemble in Regensburg the following season, where his current roles include SCARAMUCCIO, CANDIDE and PRINZ Rusalka.
