Grga Peroš
Grga Peroš was born in Zagreb and studied at the University of Graz, where he interpreted roles such as Ramiro (“L’heure espagnol”), Mr. Fluth (“The Merry Wives of Windsor”) and Guglielmo (“Cosi fan tutte”). He went on to appear Guglielmo at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. At the Klagenfurt Theater he sang Starveling (“A Midsummer Night’s Dream”) and Dancaïro (“Carmen”). Since the 2016/2017 season, Grga Peroš has been an ensemble member at the Gießen Theater, where he has sung roles such as Scherasmin (“Oberon”), Guglielmo (“Così fan tutte”), Count Almaviva (“Le nozze di Figaro”), Figaro (“Il Barbiere di Siviglia”) as well as the title roles in “Macbeth” and “Don Giovanni”. In recent seasons he has appeared at the Giessen Theater as Scarpia (“Tosca”), Kurwenal (“Tristan”) and Bottom (“A Midsummer Night’s Dream”), and the current season includes his debuts as Rigoletto and Eugene Onegin.
