Katarzyna began her professional career as a professional in 2013, while still a student, performing on the stage of the Teatr Wielki in Poznań. She performed both minor and major opera roles, such as MERCEDES Carmen and L’ENFANT L’enfant et les sortilèges, collaborating with conductors like Gabriel Chmura and Tadeusz Kozłowski.
In the 2023/2024 season, she made her debuts at Theater Bonn, Theater Koblenz, and Theater Lübeck, performing SOLO STIMME Moses und Aron, HÄNSEL Hänsel und Gretel, and OLGA Eugene Onegin. In these productions, she worked with directors including Lorenzo Fioroni and Anja Nicklich, and conductors Dirk Kaftan and Marcus Merkel.
From 2018-2023, Katarzyna Włodarczyk was a member of the ensemble at Volkstheater Rostock and Landesbühnen Sachsen, where her roles included LUCRETIA The Rape of Lucretia, HÄNSEL Hänsel und Gretel, CHERUBINO Le nozze di Figaro, VARVARA Kata Kabanova, BRADAMANTE Alcina, HANNCHEN Der Vetter aus Dingsda, and FRAU REICH Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor. During this time, she also made guest appearances at Deutsche Oper am Rhein and Komische Oper Berlin as L’ENFANT L’enfant et les sortilèges.
From 2016-2018, she was a scholarship holder at the International Opera Studio of Komische Oper Berlin, where she performed roles such as L’ENFANT L’enfant et les sortilèges, DIE KATZE Die Bremer Stadtmusikanten, MRS ALEXANDER Satyagraha, and ZWEITE DAME Die Zauberflöte. With this theater, she also performed in Beijing, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Osaka, and Paris, collaborating with directors like Barry Kosky, Calixto Bieito, Stephan Herheim, and Tobias Kratzer, as well as conductors including Christian Curnyn, Henrik Nánási, and Stefan Soltesz.
In 2018, Katarzyna Włodarczyk was invited to join the Mozart Academy at the Aix-en-Provence Opera Festival. She also participated in numerous masterclasses organised by the Opera Academy under the patronage of ENOA – European Network of Opera Academies, at the Teatr Wielki – Polish National Opera in Warsaw.
