Maria Perlt-Gärtner

 


This season Berlin-born dramatic coloratura soprano Maria Perlt-Gärtner sings ROSALINDE Die Fledermaus at Theater Klagenfurth, DIE HELDIN Die Prinzenrolle Verdi/Lortzing at the Serkowitzer Volksoper, and returns to the QUEEN OF THE NIGHT for the third consecutive season at the Semperoper, Dresden.

Her most recent performances include CUNEGONDE Candide at the National Theater Weimar, ADELE Die Fledermaus at Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Düsseldorf and the QUEEN OF THE NIGHT The Magic Flute at Theater Halle and Deutsche Oper Berlin.

She completed her studies at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden, and in 2010, Maria Perlt-Gärtner won the international opera competition OperOderSpree singing OLYMPIA from Les Contes d’ Hoffmann. Maria spent two years at the Theater Pforzheim, and has been a member of the ensemble at the Dresden State Operetta since the 2015/16 season. 

Concert highlights include appearances with the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz, Brandenburg State Orchestra Frankfurt, Staatskapelle Halle, Batzdorfer Hofkapelle, Sächsisches Vocalensemble, Dresden Kreuzchor, Singakademie Dresden, Vocalconcert Dresden, Chorus 116, Leipzig Oratorio Choir, Bielefeld Oratorio Choir, and the Musikfest Erzgebirge.

Her repertoire includes CUNEGONDE, ADELE, QUEEN OF THE NIGHT, EURIDYKE, PRINZESSIN SCHWANHILDE, SUSANNA, GALATEE, LAURETTA, JULIA DE WERT and FRAU FLUTH.
