Franziska Abram - Soprano

 


In the 2024/2025 season, German soprano Franziska Abram will make her debuts as ROSALINDE Die Fledermaus, ADINA L’elisir d’amore and PAMINA Die Zauberflöte, and she will be singing SOPRANO SOLO in a series of Gala Concerts with the Dresden Philharmonic and the Dresden Symphony Orchestra at the Kulturpalast Dresden.

Franziska was born in Quedlinburg and made her first stage appearances at the age of seven at the Harzer Bergtheater Thale. In 2016, she was awarded a scholarship from “Live Music Now Hannover e.V.”, and she won 3rd prize and in 2017 1st prize at “Klassik in der Altstadt” Competition Hannover.

Franziska made her role debuts as GRETEL Hänsel und Gretel in 2018 and ZERBINETTA Ariadne aus Naxos in 2019 at the Hitzacker Musikfestwochen, and in 2020, she completed her Masters of Opera with Distinction, studying with Prof. Marina Sandel, at the Hochschule fuer Musik, Hannover. She took part in masterclasses with Edda Moser, Peter Berne, Brigitte Fassbaender, Aribert Reimann and Ks. Edita Gruberova.

In 2018, she performed SUSANNA in the children’s production Club Figaro at the Junge Oper Hannover, and she sang DAS MÄDCHEN Die Gezeichen and in 2019 EURIDICE in a children’s production of Orfeo ed Euridice Glück at the Staatsoper Hannover.

In 2019, Franziska joined the Fest- Ensemble at the Landesbühnen Sachsen, Dresden. Her roles include GRETEL Hänsel und Gretel, ÄNNCHEN Der Freischütz, MARIA West Side Story, GILDA Rigoletto, ZERLINA and DONNA ANNA Don Giovanni, SOPHIE Werther, MALWINA Der Vampyr and ANNA Le Villi.
